Never go into a mine (without a knife, or anyway)

Yesterday
we went to a waterfall. We walked more than an hour to see it, and it was
impressive. The water came down from ten meters. We also went to a miners
place. I was happy I didn’t have to go in a mine. I have, I don’t know,
minephobia? If you don’t understand that, I am afraid of them! Read a book! You
can find Zwarte sneeuw on Elckerlyc.
And ask about info, maybe a good thing for school. They searched there for
coal. The black gold, but they also say that about truffles. We don't use it so
much anymore, ‘cause it gives lots of Co2. In Holland we have four
powerplants that run on coal. First we had only two, but they builded them in
Rotterdam and Groningen. Sure. No gas but coal. That doesn’t give earthquakes.
It’s not like people died in places like Limburg for them! That they, if they
worked in mines, at the end of the week were hungrier that at the beginning!
Started to work there when they were ten! That, if there was gas, they exploded
it and sometimes get killed because the plafond came down, that if there came
water, hundreds of people drowned! That woman of twenty looked like they were
hundred, people were getting sick of the dust! That, if people got into the mine, there was almost no way out! sorry for everyone in Groningen, but all of that happened!
Today I
made a knife. And that is not “work for a man”. We spend the on it, and it
turned out nicely. The blade is sharp and if you hold it, it feels, may I say
“nice?” It was really fun. We had a break for lunch. With the group we went to
a swing. There was a rope on it. With a few people you could pull it up. If you
let it go, the swing goes really fast. I’ve been two times. Also I threw stars
and axes. If you ask me, I would do it again, and like it again!
