To the end of the world...

The day before yesterday, we went to cape Reinga. It was a long road, it looked like a road to the end or the world. There was much wind, but still it was amazing. There were standing a lighthouse and a signpost to the South pole, Vancouver and London, to call a few. The next dag we went to there again. We walked down a road (if you ask me it was to long) to the beach of the Tasman sea, named after a Dutch explorer. They say he founded New Zealand, but he didn't. It was nice there. We four a dead martyr in the sand. I think it was dead thanks to poison.

Yesterday we also went sand dune surfing. It was much climbing, but then you've got something. You must lay on your board and stop with your feet. The first time I was hurting my arm. The second time went well. The third time I turned around and the last time was over very bobbeling sand. It was fun! We were standing that night on The Scavengers Hut. If you ever come to New Zealand, try it, it is amazing (with two dogs, a sheep, a cow, a horse, chickens, gooses and a parrot who was sitting on my shoulder).

Today we went to a kauri forest. We saw the biggest tree of New Zealand. It is fifty one meters high, thirteen point eight meters trunk girth and two thousand years old. The name of the tree is Tane Mahuta. In the mythology of the Maori is Tane the son or mother earth and father heavens. But the trees are in danger. There is a virus, and we don't know hout to stop it. If anyone knows something, let it know.
