Bienvenido a Valencia!

Hi!

Excited that I was about my arrival in Valencia. How is it going to be? What are the people going to be like? What is normal and what not? What if I don't like some things? All questions that I had before I got in the plane. The funny thing was that my imagination did not fit the reality. My room mates are great! My house is modern and my room is so clean. The weather was also  good that we decided to go to the beach already the first Sunday. And we enjoyed it to the max!

Now, when there's good news there's also bad news… The weather… It changed, and for 4 or 5 days it has rained rained and rained. But always keep your head up! Luckily there were enough coffee (and for me as a tea-lover) tea boutiques to sit all day long. 'Dulce de leche' is one of them. It is a very cosy, nice and cheap coffee boutique with all kind of delicious sandwiches and pastries. So, if you visit Valencia once during the rainy days you should take a look at this place. At least I saw my family enjoying the sunny Holanda once this weekend ;p

Right now, now the Easter-weekend is over I have to work again. From 09:00 till 18:00. Long days but it is worth it! I can improve my Spanish language a little bit and I am able to learn a lot within the marketing field!

Thanks for reading loved ones. I will keep you up to date soon.

Hugs from me!

Valencia has been a whirlwind! Roommates are awesome, the house is great, and the first beach day was amazing. Then, the rain hit hard. Thankfully, cafes like 'Dulce de Leche' saved the day. Reminds me of constantly restarting in Snow Rider 3D, gotta keep trying! Back to work now, long hours but worth it for the Spanish and marketing skills.

I hope the weather will change and you'll go often to the beach.
